BCBA in Bothell, Washington
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to design, implement, and oversee high-quality, person-centered ABA programs in the homes and communities of individuals with autism spectrum disorder and other developmental disabilities. The ideal candidate will prioritize building trusting relationships with clients and families, using a trauma-informed and empathetic approach to help individuals achieve meaningful outcomes and enhance their overall quality of life.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct Comprehensive Assessments: Perform thorough behavioral and skills assessments (e.g., FBA, VB-MAPP, ABLLS-R) with a compassionate and respectful approach, focusing on the individual's strengths, preferences, and challenges within their home environment.
Develop Individualized Treatment Plans: Design data-driven, individualized treatment plans with measurable goals that are socially significant and tailored to the client's unique needs and family situation. Ensure plans are flexible and adaptable based on ongoing progress and feedback.
Provide Direct and Indirect Supervision: Supervise and mentor Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and other behavior technicians, providing regular feedback, on-site observation, and guidance to ensure consistent, ethical, and compassionate implementation of intervention plans.
Deliver Caregiver Training and Collaboration: Work closely with families and caregivers, providing education and training to empower them to use ABA principles effectively in daily routines. Foster open communication, actively listen to family concerns, and ensure a cohesive approach to care across all settings.
Collect and Analyze Data: Design data collection systems and meticulously track client progress to make informed, data-driven decisions about treatment modifications.
Collaborate with Multidisciplinary Teams: Coordinate with other professionals (e.g., speech therapists, occupational therapists, teachers) to ensure a holistic and integrated approach to client care.
Maintain Ethical and Professional Standards: Adhere strictly to the BACB's Professional and Ethical Compliance Code, prioritizing the client's dignity, safety, and well-being at all times.
Ensure Timely Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed clinical documentation and reports in compliance with company policies and HIPAA regulations.

Requirements
BCBA certification
A minimum of two years of experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred.
Proven experience in behavioral therapy, particularly with individuals on the autism spectrum.
Familiarity with special education practices and working with people with disabilities is essential.
Strong skills in data collection, medical documentation, and understanding of medical records are required.
