I have been in the field of ABA for 10 years. I have been a BCBA for 6 years now, working mainly in-home with early learners, however I do have some experience in preschool settings, elementary school settings, and clinic settings. I have been offering remote supervision services for 3 years now and have a great system for it. I also enjoy providing group supervision.

I am a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) with 5+ years of experience as a BCBA and 7+ years in the ABA field. I am also a Licensed Behavior Analyst in Texas and North Carolina.

I provide remote fieldwork supervision for BCBA and BCaBA trainees, with an emphasis on developing practical clinical skills beyond simply completing fieldwork hours. My areas of experience include skill acquisition, verbal behavior, behavior assessment and intervention, program development, data-based decision making, caregiver and staff training, and RBT supervision.

My supervision style is collaborative and individualized, with opportunities for case discussion, program development, data review, clinical problem-solving, and performance feedback. I place particular emphasis on helping trainees connect behavior-analytic concepts to real clinical situations and develop independent clinical decision-making skills.

Flexible scheduling is available, including individual and group supervision.

I have worked in the field of ABA for over 10 years and am a BCBA and Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA). My experience includes working with children and adolescents across home, school, community, and clinical settings, with a strong focus on developmentally appropriate treatment planning, skill acquisition, and behavior reduction. I especially enjoy working in the areas of verbal behavior and with individuals with dual diagnoses.

As a supervisor, I focus on helping supervisees bridge the gap between what they learn academically and what it actually looks like to practice as a thoughtful, effective BCBA. I emphasize clinical decision-making, ethical practice, compassionate and assent-based care, and the development of strong assessment and treatment-planning skills.

I also have experience teaching ABA at the graduate level and supervising practicum students, which has helped me develop a supportive and individualized approach to supervision. I want supervisees to feel comfortable asking questions, working through challenging cases, and developing their own clinical judgment rather than simply being told what to do.

**Please note: Supervision for New York State licensure must be provided through the organization where the supervisee is gaining their experience. I am available to provide remote supervision for BACB fieldwork toward BCBA certification.

I earned my BCBA certification in 2011 and my NYS LBA in 2015. I have experience performing initial intake assessments, building clinical programs on commercially available practice management systems (e.g., CentralReach), supervising behavior technicians and RBTs, parent/caregiver education and training in behavior supports, and other areas as well.

I have specialized training and experience in relational frame theory, the VB-MAPP, conducting FBAs, and designing and implementing BSPs. I have substantial training in Greg Hanley and colleagues' Practical Functional Assessment and Skill-Based Treatment and am currently training myself in implementing these assent-affirming methods.

Hello! My name is Dana Grindstaff, and I am a BCBA licensed in Virginia and Maryland I began my career in ABA as an RBT in 2019 and earned my BCBA certification in 2022 after graduating from Ball State University’s ABA Master’s program.

I have experience working across clinic and home-based settings, as well as with parent training and care coordination among schools and other members of a client’s care team. I have worked with children ranging from 18 months to 16 years old.

My approach to ABA is compassionate, trauma-informed, neuro-affirming, and grounded in ethical practice. I believe in treating the individual—not simply their diagnosis—and in creating meaningful, individualized support that respects the person behind the behavior.

I provide the following services: BCBA student supervision/mentorship and mentorship for newly certified BCBAs.

My goal is to create a learning environment built on trust, collaboration, and non-judgment. I encourage independent thought, critical thinking, and leaning into—not away from—growth opportunities that may feel uncomfortable.

Ultimately, my mission is to help you become a confident, well-rounded practitioner by developing all of the skills that contribute to effective BCBA practice—not just knowing how to run an intervention or recite SAFMEDs in your sleep.

I want my mentees to leave mentorship feeling more confident in their clinical decision-making, communication, ethical reasoning, and ability to navigate the many moving parts of being a BCBA.
