Board Certified Behavior Analyst: Northfield, Illinois
As a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) at TherapyWorks Autism Services, you will provide clinical oversight for ABA services to clients on your caseload, create and implement ABA programs, assist in training Behavioral Technicians (BTs) and Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs), and conduct family treatment guidance sessions to promote generalization of programming, maintenance, and carryover of acquisition skills. You will report directly to the Clinical Director.
Job Responsibilities
Complete client intake process that includes both informal and formal assessment (including Functional Behavioral Assessment), parent and caregiver interview, identification of medical necessity, creation of behavior plan including frequency and specific therapy in adherence to TherapyWorks and Payer standards.
Supervise and train BTs/RBTs.
Provide direct intervention in one-on-one and group settings while maintaining client dignity and supporting assent-based treatment plans.
Implement, maintain, monitor, and manage a comprehensive treatment plan for each client, in adherence to The Ethics Code for Behavior Analysts, including long range goals, short range objectives, activities related to these objectives and an evaluation of progress toward these objectives conducting reassessments when needed.
Use appropriate data collection and graphing methods that are sensitive enough to monitor behavior change, and conduct Functional Analysis as needed in adherence to highest ethical standards and protection of client rights.
Collaborate with BTs/RBTs to ensure ongoing progress and review efficacy of treatment plan making changes as needed.
Arrange parent/caregiver meetings to maintain communication and training with the family/caregiver as needed and allowed per individual contract.
Create and adhere to a consistent schedule for client facing hours with mutually agreed upon hours.
Create and follow a supervision schedule for both direct and indirect supervision aligned with practice standards; follow standard practices for documentation of supervision.
Maintain ongoing CEU necessary to maintain supervision credentials.
Stay up to date with the latest research and advancements in the field of ABA therapy and incorporating evidence-based practices into treatment programs.

Requirements
Currently active BCBA Credentials
Hold a Master’s Degree in Special Education, Psychology, Applied Behavior Analysis, or related human services field
Completed 8-hour Supervision Course

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills and bedside manner
