Hybrid BCBA in Thomasville, North Carolina


The BCBA is responsible for leading clinical programming, supervising behavior technicians, and ensuring high-quality, ethical, and effective Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services for children diagnosed with autism and related developmental disorders. This position offers a hybrid schedule — three days per week in the clinic for client sessions, team collaboration, and supervision, and two days remote for documentation, program development, and parent/staff meetings.  


Key Responsibilities: 


Clinical Program Development 


  • Conduct initial and ongoing functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and skill assessments (e.g., VB-MAPP, ABLLS-R, AFLS). 

  • Develop individualized treatment plans, measurable goals, and data collection systems in alignment with BACB standards and client needs. 

  • Oversee implementation fidelity and update programs based on progress data and caregiver feedback.  


Supervision & Training 


  • Provide direct supervision, performance feedback, and competency-based training to RBTs and BTs per BACB supervision guidelines. 

  • Conduct live and remote observations to ensure treatment integrity and promote professional growth. 

  • Lead monthly team meetings and participate in ongoing staff development sessions.  


Parent & Caregiver Collaboration 


  • Facilitate regular parent training sessions, providing tools for generalization and family involvement. 

  • Communicate progress, updates, and behavioral strategies using clear, compassionate, and culturally responsive practices.  


Data & Documentation 


  • Review session data weekly to make data-driven program adjustments. 

  • Complete treatment notes, authorizations, and progress reports in compliance with Medicaid and insurance requirements. 

  • Maintain HIPAA and BACB ethical standards in all documentation and communications.  


Remote Work Tasks (2 Days per Week)


  • Complete treatment planning, data analysis, and insurance reporting. 

  • Conduct telehealth meetings with caregivers and staff.  

  • Attend virtual supervision and professional development sessions.  


Team Collaboration & Compliance 


  • Collaborate with Clinical Directors, Program Coordinators, and interdisciplinary professionals (SLP, OT, PT) as needed. 

  • Ensure all services align with company policies, Medicaid guidelines, and BACB ethical standards.

Salary: $80,000

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or related field.

  • Current BCBA certification in good standing with the BACB.

  • Licensure in North Carolina (or eligibility to obtain within 30 days of hire).

  • Minimum 1 year of experience providing ABA services to children ages 2–7 preferred.

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and time-management skills.
