Part-Time Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) in Middleton, WI (Greater Madison Area)


This job is 12 hours a week and starts on April 20, 2026.  


We are looking for an experienced Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to work one-on-one with a 3-year-old child in Madison.

This position includes in-home services and possibly school-based services. You will work directly with the child and receive weekly individual supervision from a BCBA via telehealth.

This is a small, BCBA-led practice focused on quality, individualized care — not a high-volume clinic setting.

Weekly breakdown:
• 10 direct therapy hours
• 1 hour telehealth supervision
• 2 paid administrative hours (materials prep, printing, planning)
• Drive time compensation negotiated based on commute


Responsibilities include:  


  • Implementing individualized treatment plans developed by the supervising BCBA  

  • Providing developmentally appropriate, play-based early intervention services  

  • Teaching communication, social, adaptive, and foundational learning skills  

  • Implementing behavior support strategies as outlined in the treatment plan  

  • Collecting accurate session data and maintaining professional documentation  

  • Preparing therapy materials and printing/organizing supplies  

  • Communicating consistently and professionally with the supervising BCBA (including timely texting communication)  

  • Maintaining compliance with BACB ethical guidelines and RBT supervision requirements
