As a Clinical Leader, the BCBA is responsible for: 

  • Serving as a behavioral consultant across educational, residential, therapeutic, and healthcare settings to promote consistent, trauma-informed, and evidence-based supports.  

  • Conducting functional and behavioral assessments to identify student needs and inform individualized, function-based interventions.  

  • Partnering with interdisciplinary teams to develop, implement, and evaluate behavior support strategies that improve student outcomes, increase independence, and enhance quality of life.  

  • Using behavioral data to inform clinical decision-making, monitor progress, and evaluate intervention effectiveness.  

  • Providing coaching, consultation, and real-time support to staff to strengthen implementation of behavioral strategies and build team capacity.  

  • Delivering training on Positive Behavior Supports, behavior analytic principles, crisis prevention, and other evidence-based practices.  

  • Collaborating with therapists, educators, nurses, residential staff, and other specialists to ensure integrated, student-centered care.

About the Company

Genesee Lake School is an employee-owned company specializing in treatment for students ages 7 to 21 who have been diagnosed with Neurodevelopmental Disorders.


Autism Spectrum Disorder and Intellectual Disability are the primary diagnoses of the students who attend our school, and many of our students have secondary or coexisting diagnoses for mental health needs.
