Board Certified Behavior Analyst: Youngstown, Ohio
The role of the BCBA is to provide therapy services based on the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis. The position involves the assessment, development, implementation, training, supervision, and monitoring of home, school, and clinic-based ABA programs.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Reports to Clinical Directors and Chief Clinical Officer
Meet regularly with Clinical Directors and notifies them immediately of issues impacting client’s progress
Lead Supervisor on each case
Supervise BCaBAs and Behavior Technicians implementing ABA based treatment plans
Administer, conduct, evaluate and supervise the implementation of behavioral/preference assessment
Design data collection systems to track and evaluate client progress on treatment plan objectives
Ongoing monitoring, implementation and revision of behavior plans to ensure all behavior and skill acquisition needs are addressed, ensuring efficacy of methods for current cases and outside of authorized hours
Responsible for ongoing individual program oversight, conducting weekly team meetings and monthly trainings
Provide ongoing supervision, maintain supervision records/audit trackers for those pursuing BCBA/BCaBA credential
Assist with interviews and onboarding employees
Train new staff and provide training materials to staff
Review, sign and audit progress notes
Attend all staff meetings as scheduled
Completes all necessary documentation in a timely and satisfactory manner
Collaborate with client’s support team members and attend school meetings, as needed
Review client's program book and develop/create teaching materials
Maintain respect and confidentiality for all clients
Maintain and protect the well-being of all clients
Maintain technical and professional knowledge with continuing education
Understands and adheres to established policies and procedures
Maintain clean and neat work environment Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
Master’s degree in ABA, Education, Psychology, Sociology or Related Field
Board Certified Behavior Analyst State License (if applicable)
Experience working in and developing home, school and clinic-based ABA programs
Experience supervising behavior technicians implementing ABA based treatment Programs
Completion of supervision training
Experience conducting assessments including the VB-MAPP, AFLS, PEAK, ABLLS, FBA
Experience working with children with autism and other developmental disabilities
Experience conducting family trainings on ABA based treatment plans
Must possess the ability to make sound clinical decisions
Excellent communication and organizational skills
