About the Role


Must be enrolled in a BCBA-approved master's program in behavior analysis or a related field.


We are seeking a motivated ABA Student Intern to join our team and gain hands-on experience in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). You will work directly with a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to provide comprehensive ABA services to individuals with autism spectrum disorder and other developmental disabilities. This internship will help you fulfill the supervised fieldwork hours required for BACB certification and offers a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills, fulfill your fieldwork hours, and make a positive impact on the lives of our clients.


Key Responsibilities


  • Assist in conducting functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and other behavioral assessments.

  • Observe and record client behaviors.

  • Help develop individualized assessment reports.

  • Collaborate with the BCBA to develop behavior intervention plans (BIPs).

  • Implement BIPs with fidelity under supervision.

  • Provide direct ABA therapy to clients.

  • Collect and analyze data on client progress.

  • Make data-based decisions and modify interventions.

  • Participate in regular supervision meetings.

  • Attend ABA-related training and workshops.

  • Maintain client confidentiality.

  • Communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members.

Requirements

  • Enrolled in a BCBA-approved master's program in behavior analysis or a related field. REQUIRED

  • Must be willing to complete RBT certification within the first 30 days. REQUIRED

  • Previous experience working with individuals with autism or other developmental disabilities is preferred.

  • Strong understanding of ABA principles and procedures.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Strong organizational and time management skills.

  • Ability to collect and analyze data accurately.

  • Passion for working with individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities.
