Key Responsibilities
Assessment & Treatment Design
Conduct comprehensive behavioral and functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and skills assessments (VB-MAPP, ABLLS-R, AFLS)
Develop and oversee individualized, evidence-based treatment plans and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)
Regularly review and adjust goals based on data-driven analysis to ensure measurable progress
Supervision and Training
Provide ongoing supervision and mentorship to RBTs, BTs, and BCBA/BCaBA candidates, ensuring treatment fidelity and clinical quality
Deliver hands-on coaching and training in ABA principles and data collection
Case Management & Collaboration
Manage clinical caseloads, including authorization and reauthorization processes with insurance payers
Collaborate with families, caregivers, and multidisciplinary professionals (SLPs, OTs, educators, physicians)
Conduct regular parent/caregiver training to encourage generalization of skills
Documentation & Compliance
Maintain organized, audit-ready documentation using electronic data systems
Ensure compliance with BACB® Professional and Ethical Code of Conduct, HIPAA, and state regulations
Professional Growth & Engagement
Participate in team meetings, clinical case reviews, and continuing education to remain current with best practices in ABA
